Mayor Bragg declared a quorum present and called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and Alderman Robinson gave the invocation.
Consent Agenda:
Alderman Jones made a motion and seconded by Alderwoman Walker to approve the consent agenda. The motion carried ayes- Robinson, Jones, Walker, Perry
Visitors Comments:
Bob Cox expressed his thanks to the Mayor for setting up the meeting with Bryan Nichols, Press Secretary for Congressman Sam Graves on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
Electric Department:
Matthew Bowen requested the city allow Tilson Technology Management to install two new poles and place a wireless radio cabinet and antennas on city owned electric poles for U.S. Cellular. Tilson Technology Management will pay the city $1,000.00 for the installation of the two new poles and $100.00 for installing the equipment on existing poles. Tilson Technology Management will furnish all labor and materials. Annually the city will be reimbursed $900.00 for the 6 poles, this is just for the use of the poles no labor or material will be furnished by the city.
Alderman Jones made a motion and seconded by Alderwoman Walker to allow the installation of the two new poles. The motion carried ayes-Jones, Walker, Perry, Robinson
Alderman Robinson made a motion and seconded by Alderman Jones to proceed with contracts regarding the placement of wireless radio cabinet and antennas on city owned electric poles. The motion carried ayes – Robinson , Walker, Perry, Jones
Matthew Bowen left the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
Cory Cook requested the Board approve stocking the new bucket truck with the necessary tools in the amount of $5,800.00.
Alderman Perry made a motion and seconded by Alderman Robinson to approve the purchase of the tools for the new bucket truck. The motion carried ayes- Jones, Robinson, Walker, Perry
Cory Cook left the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Golf Course:
Eric Ensign requested the city approve the purchase of a refurbished 2014 Grandmaster 4000 w/leaf mulching kits with approx. 2100 hours in the amount of $28,496.13 from Professional Turf Products, L.P.

Water Department:
Mike Binder submitted a proposal to trade the 2016 Polaris for a Can-am for $6,111.64. All the utility departments have access to the side-by side and use is to extensively.
Alderman Jones made a motion and seconded by Alderman Perry to approve the trade of the new Can-am in the amount $6,111.64. The motion carried ayes- Perry, Walker, Robinson, Jones
Mike Binder left the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Old Business:
Security System
Mayor Bragg informed the Board she was still researching security systems for the clubhouse and city hall. Dusty Sawyer told the Mayor and Board of Aldermen he had installed a security system for his employer and would forward the information to the Mayor for review.
